Hours – 43.66 hours per week. Rolling rota.

Monday to Saturday 6am – 4.30pm

Sunday 6am – 1pm

We are looking for an experienced Plant Operative to join the team based at our Waste Transfer Station in Newark, where waste is stored and assessed before being sent on for recycling or disposal.

This position is excellent for an individual looking to enter the waste and recycling world. If you are a team player who is looking to kick-start your career, we want to hear from you!

What will you be doing?

• Operating the wheeled shovel loader and wheeled grab mobile plant
• Control waste reception activities for both incoming and outgoing loads in conjunction with the weighbridge operative
• Control the acceptance, storing and loading of the materials accepted
• Complete all relevant daily inspections and associated paperwork
• Undertake daily maintenance checks of equipment

What are we looking for?

• Loading Shovel licence
• Manual handling experience
• Computer literate
