Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year

Planning Architect – London

We are very happy to be working with award winning Architecture and Interior Design practice in lively part of London. Client is looking for a planning-oriented Architect to join their vibrant and design led Planning Team. The ideal candidate will be newly qualified architect with minimum 3 years professional, and comprehensive planning, experience. REVIT PROFIENCY IS PREFERRED.

Practice size: 80 people

Nearest tube station: Camden Town

The role is client facing and will work with direction from a Senior Architect or a member of the management team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the project is delivered to a high quality and has been QA’d before leaving the office

• Ensure the project is delivered within budget and programme

• Provide direction on design and/or technical aspects of their project

• Facilitate reviews and design sessions

• Maintain regular contact with your client and design team

• Oversee and support your team

• Ensure effective communications both internally and externally

Competencies and Professional skills

• Be able to work autonomously and led on the direction of the design with a high level of technical competency

• Represent the practice professionally and to a high standard

• Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to their role

• Be able to programme time and resource, track and report against programme

• Understand how to, and keep projects within budget and programme

• Strong level of planning knowledge

• Good working knowledge of construction and technical design

• Coordination, and writing of, Design and Access Statements will be an essential part of their role

• Ability to you Photoshop and SketchUp preferred

• Ability to run Design Team Meetings
