Pipefitter (Workshop)

Salary: £26.4 – £27.6 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced fabrication pipefitter for work in the Aberdeen area. This will be long term work.

Applicants must have recent fabrication shop experience

Duties will include but not be limited to:-

 Participate in all relevant company safety procedures and pre job planning, including tool box talks and risk assessments. 

 Laying/Marking out, cutting, forming and joining metal pipe. 

 Aligning and fixing pieces together through welding, bolting, threading and bending. 

 Produce tack welds on various items using a variety of processes, manual arc, tungsten inert gas, metallic inert gas, brazing etc. 

 Fulfil all company and/or client procedures and understand their individual responsibility with regard to overall QHSE performance. 

 Maintaining quality of work and ensuring compliance with job specific procedures and qualifications. 

 Must be flexible, able to adapt to different situations which may require working overtime hours.

Site work may also be required, working to client’s safety procedures and quality systems

Working under limited supervision using standardised practices and/or methods.

Core hours 40 hours. Additional hours as and when required.
