Picker / Packer / Warehouse

We have an amazing opportunity to work as a picker/packer on day shifts. You will join an existing team in a very big,busy distribution warehouse for a well known retailer in the Boreham /Springfield area.

This is a temp/perm role. You will start as a temporary worker for the first 12 weeks and if you successfully complete the 3 month probation period you will be taken on as a permanent worker.and your pay will increase to £26,000 and after 12 months to £11.24

You will have a pick rate of 300 items per hour which will need to be achieved within your first 12 weeks. When picking items in the warehouse you will wear a headset, you will then load the picked items on to pallets. The positions available are in the chiller so you will need to wear suitable insulated clothing. All successful candidates will be expected to complete a health and safety course which is held on the second day, this will involve training on pump trucks and multiple choice assessment.

This is an incredibly fast paced environment and a physically demanding role so please keep this in mind when you apply. Previous warehouse experience as a picker/packer is advantageous.

All employees are drugs/alcohol tested and criminal checks are carried out.on day 1

This pays £26,000per year and shifts are 6.00am -2.00pm on a rolling rota over a 12 month period. After 12 weeks your pay will increase after 12 weeks.to £9.92 free parking on site 5 days on 3 days off, we also have a night shift from 6pm -2.00am, Salary: £26,000 increasing to £11.71
