Temporary Vacancies For Picker/Packer Operatives

Our rapidly expanding e-commerce business, based in Reading, Berkshire, requires Picker/Packer operatives to start work in the warehouse for our Christmas peak period. We are searching for reliable, punctual, conscientious and hard working people who can work quickly and accurately. Previous experience of picking and/or packing is welcome but not essential as training will be given.

Pay is £26,000 per year.

Main Duties
– In the Stock room you will be tasked with accurately and speedily picking small items from picking locations using a paper-based system.
– In the Packing area you will be required to read and follow customer and company instructions for the packing of different products.
– You may also be required to perform other duties – scanning of barcodes to track order progress and gift wrap customer orders, for example.
– You will be expected to keep your work area clean and tidy.

Job Requirements
– You will need to be able to learn quickly, pick and pack carefully but speedily to ensure that our promises to customers are kept.
– You will need to be able to read and follow instructions in English.
– We are searching for people who can commit to working unsocial hours when required, including weekends.
– In addition we require people who are reliable, punctual and hard working.
