Established Mobile Application Development Software Vendor urgently requires mid-weight OO PHP Developer to join their growing team in leafy South Central Birmingham due to new client wins

My client is looking to further develop a highly successful Mobile Worker application development kit for iOS, Android and Windows 8 they are winning more work for and the role will ideally suit a candidate with about 2 years or so previous business systems development experience in PHP.

Essential skills
PHP
OOP
MySQL
Javascript / jQuery
XML / JSON
HTML / CSS (HTML5 of interest but not essential)
Understanding of Web services
Appreciation of commercial the environment
Confidence to work with minimal supervision but also a good team player as required
Solid verbal and written communication skills
A desire to face new technical challenges!

Desirable skills (in no way essential):
Any understanding of C# and the.NET Framework
Any Bootstrap
Web server administration type knowledge / skills

The Role:
Development of new web based features and modules for existing products
Design and development of data exchange mechanisms with existing 3rd party vendor solutions
Assisting in supporting and identifying errors and implementing bug fixes in existing client systems
Design & development of mobile app interfaces for Android, iOS and Windows Phone devices

You will have the opportunity to acquire new skills & knowledge within the enterprise mobility space as well as applying solid technical skills to highly commercial projects.
