PHP Developer

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

PHP Developer, exciting opportunity to build and maintain backend systems for high-traffic e-commerce websites, with a leading British e commerce retailer. A rare chance to be an ambassador for change.

As the PHP Developer, you will have:

* Minimum 3 years’ commercial PHP development experience

* Experience developing scalable web applications

* Clean code writing experience

* Experience with modern PHP7 and Composer

* Functional, unit and Selenium testing experience

* Ability to code complex DDL and DML SQL

* Experience modifying existing SQL in a MySQL environment

* Javascript library experience (jQuery, VueJSor Angular)

* Experience developing cross-browser interfaces using HTML5, CSS, SASS and Bootstrap

* GIT version control system experience e.g. Bitbucket

* Experience with Linux/Unix using basic command line tools

* Experience with AWS a plus

As a PHP Developer, you will be:

* Developing and testing internal application software

* Providing estimates on projects

* Assisting support desks

* Advising on technical aspects during project planning

* To problem solve and find viable solutions

* Improving existing processes and practices, driving efficiency and quality

* Confident at problem solving, able to work independently and cohesively whilst having the courage to lead change and improvement

* Comfortable with change and evolving tech
