Experienced MICROBIOLOGIST required for a leading pharmaceutical company in Kent.
6 month contract to start ASAP.
£25-30k dependant on experience

Have you got hands-on experience carrying out endotoxin and sterlity testing?
A leading pharmaceutical company based in Kent are currently recruiting for a Microbiologist on a 6 month contract to work within a busy Environmental Control team. Your job role will be varied but include water sampling, microbiological analysis, environmental monitoring of GMP manufacturing areas, in-process bioburden, sterility and endotoxin testing.
Key Responsibilities will include:
– Environmental monitoring within manufacturing areas;
– Water sampling and testing;
– In-process bioburden testing of sterile products;
– Endotoxin testing of water samples and sterile products;
– Bacterial enumeration
– Working to GMP standards.
You will be required to work within a dynamic team environment, with an enthusiasm for working in a microbiology / environmental laboratory and have the ability to deliver work right first time to agreed timelines and to high quality standards.
Candidate requirements:
– Previous phamaceutical microbiology experience having worked to GMP standards;
– Good aseptic techniques;
– Practical experience of endotixon and sterility testing;
– Ideally some experience of qualifying sterility isolators and the associated testing method.
