Pharmaceutical GMP / GDP Head of Quality Assurance – Essex

This is a brand new opportunity that has been created due to expansion. Are you currently working in a pharmaceutical GMP and GDP management quality assurance systems role? Does your experience include quality assurance compliance to regulatory requirements such as the MHRA? Want to work for a growing company? Yes then this is the role for you.

Your role as a Pharmaceutical GMP / GDP Head of Quality Assurance based in Essex will involve implementing and managing a Pharmaceutical Quality System incorporating Good Manufacturing Practice, Quality Risk Management, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action and Preventive Action Management system that is compliant through the business.

This is a management role where you will manage the Quality Systems team and work directly with contract manufacturers on product development and drug products transfers.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Management of the Document Control, Change Control and Quality Risk Management systems.
• Dealing with deviations and CAPAs.
• Scheduling, maintaining and carrying out internal and external auditing.
• Supplier development.
• Maintenance of Technical Agreements with contract manufacturers, contract packers, contract laboratories, distributors and wholesalers.
• Approval of specifications, test methods, manufacturing procedures, validation documents, stability protocols and Technical Agreements.
• Managing quality related issues and developing strategies in the Technical Transfer of products.

This is a full time permanent job opportunity with a great salary paying £60,000 – £72,000 per annum and benefits including pension, healthcare, holidays, bonus, company car or car allowance and many more.

Skills:

• Degree in Chemistry, Biology or Pharmacy.
• Pharmaceutical Manufacturing/Contract Manufacturing expereince within a Quality function.
• Ideally have worked with contract manufacturers for drug technology transfer.
