About the Company

I am a young adult male with moderate/ severe learning difficulties and live separately in my own home with the help of a supportive family and a team of Personal Assistants (PA’s). I employ, with my parents help, a team of PA’s to assist me to live independently. I require support 24 hours a day. I am very active and attend many activities. I need a personal assistant to assist me in all areas of my personal, domestic and social life, both at home and in the community. Your role is to enable me to lead an individual and independent life in and from my own home.

What does this Personal Assistant job involve?

Hours of Work: Hours are on Ad – Hoc Basis – Hours Depend On Needs of The Business – Shifts Between 07:00 – 23:00 + Sleep – Ins possible.

• To enable me to undertake any chosen activity, inside or outside my home, by carrying out any other requests which I may reasonably make.
• I enjoy playing football and going to football games, cinema, gardening, cooking and keeping fit at weekends
• I need to keep up with my domestic responsibilities and make sure I am organised
• I need to make sure I am suitably dressed and presentable
• I need help to get to social activities, visits and celebrations
• I need help to do all of this to varying degrees
