ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
This nursery It operates from a community hall situated in the London Borough of Southwark. The nursery offers care Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm, for 50 weeks of the year. Ofsted rating “Good”
THE ROLE & BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
* To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
* To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
* To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times
* To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends
* To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels
* To implement an effective parent liaison program, to be influential in developing strong links with parents
* To manage all day to day operations of the nursery
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* A manager that has experience of running at least a 40 – place nursery with minimum Ofsted Good rated
* Or an experience deputy Manager with at least 3 years at one recent setting
* Have at least two recent years’ experience at once setting
* Live within a 30-minute commute
* The successful candidate must have a proven track record in Nursery Management and with strong leadership skills
* Be qualified minimum Level 3 in Childcare
