Fundraiser Purpose: Recruiting new long-term donors, working 4 or 5 days a week

Job Purpose: You’ll be Private site fundraising at shopping centres, supermarkets and other footfall venues on behalf of Greenpeace. Working exclusively on iPads, loaded up with the most amazing videos and images to explain Greenpeace vital work

Clear Fundraising is a fresh thinking agency working with iPad technology to raise money for some of the world’s most respected charities including the Greenpeace. We’re looking for fundraisers across London and the South-East, ideally within easy traveling distance of shops and busy town centres.

After joining Clear Fundraising you’ll spend four days training one of which is held at the organisation headquarters. You’ll be fundraising at shopping centres, supermarkets and other footfall venues – we don’t do ‘street fundraising’ or ‘door-to-door’, but if you have experience of this or other field sales work you might find you have the skills to fundraise for us.

Main Responsibilities:
Inspiring and providing information with real passion to the public to raise money for Greenpeace through recruitment of new donors.
• To consistently exceed the targets set by the Operations Manager and Campaign Lead this will normally be attaining 3 new donors per shift, per fundraiser, within agreed attrition levels.
• Represent Clear Fundraising and Greenpeace in a professional manner including dress code.
• Be flexible regarding working hours and weekends.
• Attend one to one meetings, training events, team building days, and workshops as requested by Clear Fundraising
• Report to line manager and colleagues throughout the week
• Liaise with Clear Fundraising staff to develop your skills and knowledge in order to aid Clear Fundraising success.
• Digest and present new information about sometimes complex issues and statistics in the campaigns, in a way members of the public can understand and relate to.
Person Specification:
• We require Fundraisers to show a proactive attitude to developing the quality and efficiency of their own work and the service that Clear Fundraising can offer to its clients
• A team player with a confident manner and a professional, flexible, positive, and studious approach to then work.
• Fundraisers will need a flexible approach to his / her duties, accepting new tasks with enthusiasm
• Resilience and a positive attitude.
