Peripatetic Manager

Salary: £24 per hour

Peripatetic Manager required to work for one of UK’s leading elderly care providers. As the Peripatetic Manager you will oversee care homes in the South-west of England.

This newly created opportunity will support the Regional Operations Team in the development of quality of services and standards in private care and nursing homes throughout the UK, whilst playing a pivotal role in business improvement.

Key accountabilities include:

* Overseeing the management of a care home on a short-term basis during periods of absence from the home managers, supporting the managers to achieve compliance and improve grades Trouble shooting in under-performing care homes.

* You will be able to demonstrate strong positive ideas, competency, and experience of running a home whilst meeting national minimum standards and all relevant legislative requirements

* Development and review of care plans to meet the physical, social and psychological needs of the residents.

* To provide strong leadership skills to enhance client’s quality of life by identifying and reducing risks by conducting care audits and taking corrective action

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

* Previous experience as a Care Home Manager Multi-Site Home Management experience in troubleshooting or developing new services – Elderly Care.

* Have the ability to deliver outstanding care for residents with a in depth understanding of the legal requirements such as Health and Social Care Act, CQC regulations, KLOEs
