Summary of role
  Flexible and adaptable to change, able to meet high expectations of accuracy, detail and data administration and maintenance. Confidentiality is essential, as is a creative and innovative fair for identifying ways to reduce barriers, simplify processes whilst ensuring we remain safe, legal and compliant.

Must be able to manage multiple diaries, schedule and co-ordinate events and support with the provision of data and reporting working in liaison with the wider Learning & Transformation Team.

Brief summary of principle accountabilities

  • Manage and coordinate all requests for training and development, maintaining the organisational training plan (OTP) to reflect all approved requests, expected and actual return on investment along with benefits to individual and Babington.
  • Maintain and publicise the learning and development calendar to promote opportunities for employees, allowing for greater participants in CPPD activities.
  • Administer the Learning Experience Platform for all employees, ensuring compliance in relation to annual refreshers and onboarding phases.
  • Manage and co-ordinate the relevant learning and development documentation, both for internal and external learning interventions, along with certifications where applicable.
  • Support onboarding and induction activities through the co-facilitation of welcome events for all new colleagues joining the company.
  • Manage the mandatory training platform for all employees ensuring compliance in relation to annual refreshers and onboarding phases.
  • Accurate management of confidential employee data in relation to people relations through the use of appropriate systems and processes. This would include; personnel files, organisational charts and associated employee metrics.
  • Responsibility for the monitoring and renewal of DBS checks and associated mandatory training in line with company expectations to place safeguarding of all as paramount importance.
  • Monitor induction timetables and activities, escalating areas of concern to People Partners.
  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of confidential employee data including creation, archiving and removal as per legislation and ensuring appropriate version control and governance of all records.
  • Providing administrative support in relation to issuing of employee lifecycle documentation including (but not exclusive to) contracts, amendments, performance management and exit paperwork

  • Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent (E)
  • Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing (D)
  • Level 2 Certificate in IT user skills or willingness to acquire (D)
