PCV Bus Shunter

We urgently require PCV Bus Shunter’s to work on a temporary contract in the Barking Bus Garage, 205 Longbridge Road, Barking, Essex IG11 8UE. (StageCoach)

The position is temporary; Start date is immediate; end date is not known.

You will be responsible for shunting and driving the bus in and around the depot for it to be washed, cleaned and refuelled, then parking them up ready for the drivers on the early shift.

This is a driving role, however during down time (non-busy periods) you may be asked to assist in the refuelling and cleaning.

Shift pattern – Rotating 7 days a week: 6pm – 2.30am

The garage is manned 7 days a week and you will be expected to work 5 out of 7 shifts. Breaks are deducted from the 8 hour shifts, so you’re paid 7 hours per shift.

PCV (D) Licence is required, Hi-Vis and Safety Boots are Essential.
