Overview
Our client is looking to recruit a PCB Designer to generate PCB designs and manufacturing information for clients in the Rail, Energy and Industrial Power markets.

Company
Established for over 30 years, the company designs and manufactures high performance electric motors and generators, drives and power electronics for the Energy, Industrial, Transport and Defence markets.

Job
You will be part of the design team, developing and providing accurate cost effective PCB designs specific to project requirements, to the products’s release. At times you will be working on the modification of existing PCB designs. The full documentation pack will be created in Cadstar PCB design software.

Experience Required
Essential: HNC / ONC Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Desirable: HND / Degree Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Cadstar experience beneficial, but training will be provided.
Experience of multi-layer PCB design and manufacturing in an engineering focused company, some exposure to high current boards
Blueprint and AutoCAD software experience beneficial.
A good communicator, able to liaise with internal staff, customers and suppliers.

Remuneration
Maximum salary as stated.
