PARTS & STORES CO-ORDINATOR

MAIDENHEAD

COMPETITIVE SALARY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Our client is one of the leading suppliers of recycling and materials processing equipment. They now require a Parts & Stores Co-ordinator to join their busy team based in Maidenhead.

Responsibilities & Role

The tasks for the Parts and Stores Co-ordinator are liaising with the Service Manager and various departments of the employer’s business to enable smooth running which includes;

Spare parts and stores operation, including responsible for the receipt of goods, whilst ensuring checks are made against delivery notes before storage according to stock levels and rotation plans

  • Stock control, stock level controls, stock allocations
  • Stock ordering from the various manufacturers and suppliers
  • Identify, locate and supply parts for the customers and service crew whilst completing necessary documentation.
  • Liaising with the service department on field service and yard servicing, spare parts dispatch to the service crew
  • Direct dispatch of parts to customers and organising deliveries with the logistics team
  • Deal with exchange/replacement parts according to instruction whilst understanding the stock control processes and policies
  • Updating and recording of all parts manuals etc. for the Service office.
  • Utilising the software packages, Sage stock accounts package, health and safety, CRM etc.
  • Answering phone calls relating to suppliers
  • Continuously collaborating with the team in order to ensure customer focus, performance and managing team objectives
  • To ensure customer service is a key priority in your department
  • Ensure all housekeeping and H&S regulations and policies are adhered to
  • You will prepare accurate data and statistics in line with weekly and monthly reporting requirements and contribute to the monthly meetings and helping identify and promote new business opportunities
  • Unloading/loading parts
  • Stock/parts receipt and allocations to shelves and labelling of parts correctly
  • Weekly yard stock count shafts/drums and machine list in yard
  • Washing machines when required
  • Collection and delivery of parts to customers or engineers
  • Parts picking and packing for customers and engineers
  • Hire checks in/out and pictures taken of machinery off hire checks IN/OUT and pictures taken
  • Damage inspections reported and passed over to Service for Invoicing
