Part Time Kitchen Porter (18hrs Per Wk Every Other Weekend)

CareTech Community Services are one of the leading quality care providers within the region, providing residential care facilities for adults with physical and neuro disabilities, and mental health.
We are looking to recruit a reliable Part Time Kitchen Porter to join our fantastic service in Woolwell, Plymouth.

Main duties will include:-

*Assisting the Chef in taking out the food.
*Washing saucepans, chinaware, glassware, cutlery, kitchen utensils.
*Cleaning the kitchen floor, surfaces and equipment
*Unloading deliveries and moving food supplies
*Keeping stores tidy
*Removal of rubbish
*Sweeping areas to keep tidy

The essential requirements to be successful as a Kitchen Porter include:

* Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter
* Good communication skills
* The ability to work well within a team
* Excellent grooming standards

Candidates must be able to work 9.30am – 6.30pm every other Saturday and Sunday (18 hrs per week), and be able to cover sickness and holidays.

All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS Check and satisfactory references.
