Salary: £26,000 per year

The Company:
My client is one of the largest independent providers of property maintenance services in the UK, providing both Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance to thousands of clients across tens of thousands of locations around the UK. They provide, Mechanical & Electrical, Fabric, Air conditioning and Combustion, maintenance and installations to commercial & retail environments. With 15 regional offices they are national specialists in planned and responsive maintenance and all of there services are based on `self delivery`, which means that they employ only the best, fully qualified in-house technicians and engineers to maintain quality standards. They currently employ over 2000 technicians and engineers.

The Role:
My Client are looking for a Fabric Handyperson to work on a large Static Site in Wigan.
This a part time role of 16hours a week.
You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of internal/external building fabric
General Duties
• Door maintenance and repair
• Basic Plumbing repairs
• Tiling patch repairs, wall and floor
• Temporary repairs to flooring carpets, lino and screeds
• Suspended ceiling repairs
• Shelving racking
• Lock changes/repairs
• External repairs i.e. patch brickwork, paviers
• Complete a weekly timesheet and submit in accordance to the departments procedures
• Provide detailed and accurate reports for any remedial works required whilst attending site
• Comply with company QA and Departmental procedures
• Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner
• Assist in the preparation of emergency and contingency plans
• Ensure accurate records appertaining to all planned preventative maintenance and the emergency repairs completed
• Oversee all site activities, both maintenance and project specific and ensure all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site procedures and requirements
• Perform all duties inline with current health and safety legislation and company policy with relevance to safe working practices and the storage of chemicals

You will need to have:
• City & Guilds appropriate to building fabric (desirable)
• Previous experience in a similar field (essential)

The Package:

• £16,000 pro rata
