Part Time Catering Assistant Term time only

PART-TIME CATERING ASSISTANT ( TERM TIME ONLY)                     

Salary: £21,811 per annum pro rata

Hours:  30 hrs per week, 36 weeks per year

8.30am – 3.00pm Mon-Thur -1/2 hour lunch break  

7am-1pm Fri

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our Refectory team at Leeds College of Building.  Predominantly based at our Southbank 1 site but could be at our other sites as required.

Duties of this role include basic food preparation, ensuring the kitchen and all refectory areas are kept clean/safe, operating a till/handling cash and serving food in a polite, professional, and friendly manner to all customers. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential.

You must have a Food Safety Level 2 certificate, relevant and recent experience of working in a catering environment together with excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills.   Knowledge of basic food hygiene regulations/standards and experience of using kitchen equipment is essential.  You should also be customer focused and be quality driven as well as being punctual and reliable.
