WB Power Services are currently recruiting an experienced Panel Wirer to work in our Ilkeston Depot. This is a superb opportunity for a Panel Wirer to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for a driven and motivated Panel Wirer to support the team through these exciting times.

The Role

• Fitting & wiring of various types of control panels within our workshop in Ilkeston.
• Working to a schematic diagram.
• Carry out minor electrical installations, panel modifications & fault finding as required.
• Fitting electrical components to chassis plates and external covers.
• Analyse performance and make operational changes where needed.
• Liaise with the Line Manager and the customer where required.
• Accurate recording keeping using the company’s bespoke management system.
• Working closely internally, to ensure jobs are within budget and on time.

The Person

• 2+ years’ experience in the field.
• Good knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
• Be able to read and understand control panel schematics.
• Experience working with generators is desirable.
• City & Guilds 18th edition electrical regulations (or equivalent) is desirable.
• Be able to understand and complete risk assessments.
• Hold a Full UK driving licence.
