Paint Sprayer

Paint Sprayer required on a contract basis to join an industry leading manufacturing business.

will join a art manufacturing facility working in a small team to prepare and finish a range of component to an extremely high standard.

Key responsibilities:

* Follow the work instructions detailing the requirements for surface preparation, priming and finishing.
* Ensure surfaces to be painted are clean and free from oil and/or grease.
* Ensure surfaces which are to be left paint-free are properly masked.
* Be proficient in the use of cleaning, preparation and paint spraying equipment (use of pneumatic tools).
* Remove all masking and suitably protect components prior to passing to stores.
* Conduct self-inspections of finished products to ensure it is to the required acceptance standard.
* Work to schedules and production plan.
* Be familiar with data sheets for all products used in the paint shop and identify possible hazards.
* Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn as required.
* Operate within the guidelines of the Company’s policies and procedures, IS9001 and internal work instructions.
* Ensure that all areas, plant and equipment are kept in a clean and safe working condition and that the general area is kept in a clean and tidy state.
* Comply with the Company’s health and safety policy, procedures and processes

Experience required:

* Previous experience as a paint sprayer preferably in an industrial / manufacturing environment.
* Proactive and enthusiastic attitude
* Team player
* Willingness to adhere to all Health and Safety processes.
* Awareness of quality assurance throughout the whole process.
* Ability to problem solve.
