Paint Sprayer

Salary: £16.8 per hour

We are currently recruiting for 2 x Commercial Paint Sprayers to join Highgrounds Paintshops based in the Worksop area who are leaders in high quality commercial painting, vehicle refinishing and shot blasting at scale.

Shifts:

• Monday to Thursday 7:30-16:10
• Friday 06:00-14:40
• 40 Hours per work

Salary:

• £16.8 per hour
• £29,120 per year

What you will be doing?

• To prepare and spray lager commercial vehicles, trailers/ tractors, fabrications and other items to a high standard
• They are a busy site and attention to detail is essential
• You will be working with air assisted equipment, often at height and using a range of different paint systems

Typical day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Preparing, sanding and masking bodywork and equipment to a high standard
• Applying a range of primers, top coats and protective finishes
• Working to spec, ensuring that jobs are finished on time and in full
• Conducting basic quality control checks
• Mixing paints to the right colour and consistency
• Preparing, maintain and cleaning equipment
• Storing paints in the correct conditions
• Ensuring that you always follow safety procedures

Skills/ Experience:

• The right person will have 3 or more years’ experience painting large, commercial vehicles or equipment using air fed systems.
• High level of accuracy and an eye for detail to make sure that the finish of the paint is of the highest standard.
• General knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of paint spraying.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to actively contribute to the team
• Current FLT license is desirable
