Packing Room Manager – Food Industry

Our client is a leading producer of premium ready meals to the Airline Industry. Due to increased market share, an exciting opportunity for a Packing Room Manager has arisen.

Based at their site in North London, you will report directly to the Senior Operations Team. We are looking for a hands-on manager to oversee multi-skilled individuals to help deliver excellence throughout the production line and packing room. Team leadership, direction and development are an integral part of this role in order to achieve agreed manufacturing KPI’s. You will be implementing and managing continuous improvements in line with the business strategy to drive efficiencies. You will be targeted on hygiene, labour efficiency, cost control, waste and lean efficiencies.

The successful candidate for this role should have similar experience of managing a team within a busy food production environment with a clear ability to implement the latest LEAN techniques. You will also have a high energy approach, be a decisive thinker with a strong determination to succeed within this growing brand. You should be a confident and consistent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and have a passion for great food.
