Contract Packaging Designer
Remote first, occasional onsite visit
You will be working on design concepts, mock ups and art-working .
A leading retail client is looking for a Packaging Designer with experience in designing 3D products.
Key Skills:
- Adobe software, including Illustrator, Photoshop & inDesign
- Highly creative with a great eye for design, illustration and typography
- High attention to detail
- Strong commercial awareness
- Great organisation and time management skills
- Strong team player
- Experience working from concept through to the artwork process
- Experience working in a retail company
Responsibilities:
- Taking design projects from initial briefing stage through to print ready artwork
- Work with the product developer to prepare design and packaging concepts
- Create surface pattern design/ illustration by hand or adobe software
- Set up and build physical mock ups
- Continue to develop new design and concepts
- Assist in the approval of relevant colour / design sensitive components of packaging
