Salary: £26,000 per year
The role involves loading and unloading parcels from trailers which vary in weight from 1kg to 35kg. It can also involve sorting parcels by postcode to ensure they reach the correct destinations. Experience of using hand held scanning equipment would be beneficial but not essential.
The role is physically demanding as you could also be transferring parcels between the conveyor belts. The pace of work is also fast and you will be required to work quickly and efficiently to ensure that warehouse deadlines are met.
The hours are part time, however there may be an opportunity to work longer shifts to manage workloads.
