Salary: £150 per day
Adecco are working alongside our Public Sector client to recruit OVERNIGHT Count Staff for the upcoming Scottish Parliament count for the Scottish General Election on Thursday 5th May 2016.
On close of polling over 900 ballot boxes will be delivered to The Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston. This is the once in a lifetime opportunity to see the internal workings of government and witness the dramas that unfold through the night as Scotland’s MSPs are elected.
What do count assistants do?
*Work in a small team for a Count Supervisor who will to explain what to do
*Be able to unfold, sort and count ballot papers
*Remain in post at the count until your Count Supervisor tells you that you may go home.
Pay and other key details
*Working hours: from 9.30pm on 5 May to 6.30am (approximately) on 6 May 2016
*Pay: £150 which is Taxable
*Place: Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston
*Refreshments will be provided
*Transport to and from the count will be provided for people who live in Edinburgh. Car parking is also available
*You must act impartially at all times
*You must be aged 18 or over
*You cannot have campaigned on behalf of any of the parties or candidates.
