Rate: £26,000 – £30,420 per year (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Length: 3 – 6 months
Hours: 37 hours/ Monday to Friday
Start date: Immediate
Resourcing Group Futures is currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist Domestic Violence Charity who provides support and advocacy to women and children experiencing/ fleeing domestic abuse in Essex.
Our client is looking for an experienced Outreach Worker to join one of their professional and passionate North Essex based teams on a 3 – 6 month contract.
The successful candidate will be providing community based support services to women who have fled or who are currently experiencing Domestic Violence – this includes practical and emotional support and will centre around empowering the women through offering them with opportunities and options in order for them to make their own decisions.
You will be responsible for between 14 – 16 clients which will consist of devising and analysing support plans, safety and/ or exit plans, executing comprehensive risk and needs assessments (including CAADA-DASH RIC), implementing crisis intervention support and management and conferences (including MARAC, CP Conferences and TAC Meetings) and with partner agencies and services (including IDVA services, Refuges, the Police, Probation, Social Services, Local Authorities etc).
You will be working as part of a multi-agency team of committed professionals to back and empower your clients to live freely from the abuse they have/ are suffering.

Essential Requirements:
*The successful candidate will need to have a solid history and passion for supporting victims of domestic abuse and/ or vulnerable women
*You will also need to hold a current enhanced DBS and have access to a car and have a valid UK Driving License.
