We are currently seeking an Optical Measurement Systems Development Engineer for a leading Aerospace company. If you have experience with Pressure Sensitive Paint, Particle Image Velocimetry, Digital Image Correlation, Laser Doppler Anemometry.

The Company is an independent non-profit distributing research and development organisation specialising in computational fluid dynamics and wind tunnel model design, manufacture and testing for the aerodynamic design cycle of aircraft and associated flight vehicles. Our customers include most of the major Aerospace companies world-wide.
We are looking to recruit an Optical Measurement Systems Development Engineer to lead on the development and industrialisation of our optical measurement systems capability for use in a wind tunnel environment.
The successful candidate will have experience in the use of optical measurement systems, including at least one of Pressure Sensitive Paint, Particle Image Velocimetry, Digital Image Correlation, Laser Doppler Anemometry.
They will also have experience of developing the processes needed to use optical measurement systems in an industrial environment.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
Strong problem analysis & solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A team player
Ability to define and follow a development programme
Aerospace aerodynamics experience
Chartered Engineer and MRAeS status
The successful candidate must satisfy our security clearance requirements.
