Crown Worldwide Group has an opening for an Operations Operator to join our Operations team based at our Crown Workspace depot in Edmonton, London.
The Operations Operator is a permanent position offering £30,000.00 depending on skills and experience.

The Role:
We are recruiting highly motivated, experienced Operations Operator to assist managing all operational activities, in particular driver and vehicle excellence, within a busy Operations Department.

In this role you will assist managing all operational activities, in particular driver and vehicle excellence, within a busy Operations Department.
You will contribute to the development of our business through enhanced profitability and improved quality, by providing the highest standard of services to our customers and providing timely and thorough communications to our staff and Service Partners (SPs)
.Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day administration of the HGV pre-use check and defect reporting APP based system.
- Ensure adherence to driving licence checks, permit to drive renewals and DCPC training, other driver training together with any other transport related competencies.
- Day to day administration of the company telematics system, including daily reporting, driver coaching, driver behaviours and camera functionality.
- Driver responsibility briefings either via e-learning or face to face briefings, inductions and tool box talks on company policy and legislation.
- Carry out basic random vehicle roadworthiness check fulfilment and quality.
- Day to day management of tachograph VU & driver card downloading, reporting and actioning infringement actions being focal and escalation point for driver infringements.
- Carry out checks on driver documentation.
- Assist transport managers with transport/compliance investigations.
- Ensuring adherence to legislation and company policy’s.
- Report near miss events.
- Complete all documentation and update system records accurately and promptly.
- Monitor and support site staff with the maintenance of driver records at site level as required.

- To undertake any other duties and deal with matters related to operations disciplines which can be reasonably expected of this position.
Skills/ Experience:
- Demonstrable vehicle and driver management systems experience
- Clear and precise communication skills essential
- Has an accurate and organised approach towards work processes
- A systematic and consistent approach to targets and assignments
