Operations Manager – Waste Management

Andrew Bolton at CK Science is currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to join a leading Waste Management Organisation at their site in Hampshire on a full time, permanent basis.

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all Business & Operations Management of the Depot. Your duties will include:
– Day-to-day operational management of the site including people (40 staff on site), budget & finance management (Incl. P&L).
– Recruitment, training, appraisals and disciplinary of Site Operatives & other staff on site.
– Liaising with customers ensuring SLAs meet customer requirements, ensuring prices remain competitive/profitable and dealing with customer complaints.
– Ensuring H&S, Fleet Compliance and Quality standards maintained across site including staff are carrying out relevant internal & customer risk assessments.
– Completion of all documentation & reports.

As the Operations Manager, you will have demonstrated experience in a Management function gained within the Waste Management or Transport industries including people management & understanding of P&L, Budgets etc.

A qualification in Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) National Road Haulage or Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) would be advantageous, but not essential.

As an Operations Manager this is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Waste Management Organisation at a leading site with a multi-million yearly budget & revenue streams. In return they offer a salary of between £42,000 – £51,600coupled with excellent benefits.
