Waste Collections Operations Manager

Salary: Competitive plus performance bonus, company car/car cash allowance and pension

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, including scheduled weekends

Location: Haringey, Watermead Way Depot

What you’ll be doing;

• Responsible for overseeing a team of Environmental managers while assisting the Collections Contract manager to improve service levels and react to changes in legislation.
• Ensuring Fleet and Driver compliance is followed.
• Continue to improve the refuse and recycling collections service in the fast and ever changing landscape.
• Responsible for delivering an excellent service and keeping accurate records for reporting.
• Management of frontline staff, ensuring targets are met.
• Delivering cost effective services that achieve value for money.

What we’re looking for;

• Knowledge of Collections and waste management legislation and procedures.
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation and guidelines for safe working practices.
• CPC qualification – desirable
• Previous experience of people management.
• Previous experience of training, conducting and supervising a large workforce.
