Location: Altrincham (WA14)
Job Type: Permanent, Part-time, 22.5 hours a week (flexible & hybrid)
Salary: £18,000 to £20,000 + bonuses

Purpose of the role
To continue our growth in 2024 and beyond we are looking for an Operations Assistant to assist with improving all areas of the business and supporting the team and senior management with their mission to make a real difference in the life science industry.
This is an important role for the business, so we are looking for someone proactive, who has the experience to make a real difference and is not afraid to suggest new ideas.
As an Operations Assistant, you will be:
- Supporting internal operations such as project management, marketing, finance, HR, recruitment, and IT
- Leading the continuous improvement of our processes, operations, and projects
- Perform research and data analysis, and keep databases up to date to assist with internal operations
- Anticipate and resolve issues and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards
- Assist with project budgeting, tracking, and reconciliation
- Coordinate and schedule project activities and meetings
Are you what we are looking for?
We are looking for someone who is:
- At least three years of experience in operations assistant, project assistant, executive assistant, administrative assistant, or similar roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), LinkedIn, and other office software and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Take a proactive approach to the role, and can work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Professional, courteous, and flexible attitude.
- Passionate about healthcare and life sciences, and creating real value for our customers
- Thinks about the long-term benefits for the business and their colleagues
- Has a positive attitude and embraces sharing ideas. Someone who isn’t afraid to suggest new ideas, be wrong, and also give constructive feedback
- Entrepreneurial and flexible approach to the role, and willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks from time to time.
