On Site Service Engineer

10259 – On Site Service Engineer , Port Talbot, Wales 

Site based Monday to Friday

Plus Operational Bonus

Are you an experienced Service Engineer?

Can you work on site in Port Talbot, Wales?

You could be just what we’re looking for!

You will be working alongside a team to ensure the site is running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Duties will include:

• Service, recommend changes, report and communicate treatment performance in line with the site requirements and policies.
• Find, fix or seek solutions for any problems encountered
• Calibrate personal & onsite equipment and generate calibration certificates
• Routine maintenance of technology & equipment.
• Independently diagnose issues found onsite and escalate or rectify as required.
• Operation of dosing pumps – changing dosing rates based on onsite test results
• Identify opportunities for upgrades – whether this is chemical dosing equipment (Chemfeed), training, analytical services or increased scope of supply.
• Complete Legionella sampling
• Ensure the service plans are defined and delivered
• Manage QEHS documentation
• Awareness & engagement with safe chemical delivery & storage procedure.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Worked as a Service Engineer or in similar roles
• Chemistry/Chemical Engineering background or equivalent scientific qualification,
• OR time-served in a similar position
• Be organised and have great communication & interpersonal skills
