Our Client, a highly successful international producer of functional furniture fittings, is seeking to recruit a highly skilled Account Manager to take care of their OEM accounts in the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

You’ll already be a hands-on, proactive, very experienced and fully involved Account Manager / Relationship Manager / Sales Manager with proven experience of managing OEM relationships and from an environment where there is a high commitment to customer care and support. You’ll have the commercial skills, energy, enthusiasm and creativity to be a key driver and innovator in respect of driving sales, profitability and service excellence. The ability to influence and engage with colleagues and customers across all sectors of the business is essential.

This is a pro-active role and so you’ll have to be able to show proven success of building relationships with customers and colleagues across all communication channels with a unwavering commitment to the assured delivery of an exceptional customer experience hand-in-hand with driving sales growth. You must be highly organised with an eye for detail and strong administrative skills, together with the ability to effectively manage your diary to ensure all accounts receive regular and appropriate levels of contact. You’ll need to be someone who enjoys meeting people face to face as it is expected that visiting customers will be how you spend a significant amount of your time.

Travel will be throughout the area north of the M62 in England, plus Scotland and Northern Ireland. You must live within the north of England or very close to this area, have a full driving licence and be willing to travel, including staying away from home on a regular basis.
