Occupational Therapist – Technology Enabled Care

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

A fantastic opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to work in a role emerging job with a Technology Enabled Care Service (TECS) based in West Sussex.

This is a really interesting role for a HCPC Occupational Therapist with an interest and excitement about working with new technology.

The job role is permanent and salary will be offered dependent on your level of experience. We welcome applications from anyone with an interest in developing skills around Technology Enable Care (TEC).

The vacancy is with a private organisation that acts as the Development Partner working with the County Council and NHS CCG to deliver specialist care technology services for people living in West Sussex.

The company already delivers TECS in 9 other areas of the country so you will be joining a nationwide team specialising in this emerging field of care and support. Job responsibilities include:

Occupational Therapy and Transformation Support – supporting the day to day delivery of the service which may include some assessment work, providing professional supervision and support for other assessors in the team, leading innovation projects as the Delivery Partner with the council and NHS partners
Communication and Engagement – Providing training and delivering expert knowledge about technology enabled care to a wide range of social care, health and voluntary sector staff across West Sussex
Participating in other TEC and Clinical Services developments and activities for the company, including opportunities to support Student OT practice placements from the University of BrightonApplicants will need to be car drivers with their own vehicle and be good with Excel and PowerPoint presentations.
