Salaries…

Managers – up to £45k

Room Leaders – up to £26k

Level 3’s – up to £22k

Essential experience and duties

– A relevant qualification – NNEB/NVQ Level 3

– Working knowledge of EYFS Curriculum

– Excellent knowledge of Child Development

– To give support and supervision to other personnel within the Nursery.

– To initiate, implement and supervise the daily planning and routines in the nursery

– To direct and support staff as agreed by the Nursery Manager.

– To deputise for the Room Leader as necessary.

– To meet the aims, objectives and philosophy of Learning Curve Day Nursery.

– Work with parents/carers to fully integrate the children into the Nursery

– To develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring needs

– Maintain the children’s development, progress & observation records and institute reviews for parents/carers, in conjunction with the Manager. Parents/Carers

– To ensure good standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times and be responsible for the Health and Safety standards appropriate for the needs of young children.

– Ensure that the safety of the children and staff are paramount and adhere to Nursery policies on collection of children. Staff

– Support all staff and engage in promoting good teamwork practices.

– Ensure confidentiality of information received.
