Nursery Manager

Salary: £30,000 – £39,600 per year

Are you looking for a new opportunity as a nursery manager. We currently have a great opportunity at a very successful private nursery in Stratford, London E15. This nursery has a capacity for over 70 children and is open all year round.

Having 2 years experience as a Nursery Manager would be an advantage but is not essential, as long as you have worked as a Nursery manager previously. The nursery is conveniently located close to tube and bus station and private parking is also available.

This is a full time role working 40 hours a week, with great benefits and also further career progression within the group.

Nursery manager Duties:

* Training and support for staff

* Propagate exemplary practice in childcare and education

* Develop and manage all aspects of the nursery including marketing and administration

* Ensure a high quality of education and childcare by following all Ofsted requirements as set out in the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage

* creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play

* working with colleagues and other professionals to make sure that children’s needs are met

* supporting and developing the nursery team

* managing a budget

Nursery manager Requirements:

* Minimum qualification Level 3 qualification in childcare

* 2 years experience, in a Nursery setting, as a senior
or room leader role

* Empathy and understanding of children under five

* Ability to write reports and keep clear and accurate
records

* Calm and caring nature

* Able to work on own initiative
