Nursery Curriculum Leader

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Early Years Curriculum Leader. You will be responsible for the provision of the Early Years curriculum and, supporting the staff through training and ensuring high quality throughout the setting.

As the Nursery Curriculum Leader, you will be part of the senior team, working with the Nursery manager and directors, and ensuring the curriculum is applied at the highest level.

This is a full time role, and we are looking for candidates with previous experience as Nursery Manager or Nursery Deputy manager with excellent understanding of the EYFS. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours a week, and you may also work at different sites and possibly from home for some of the time.

Nursery Curriculum Leader Responsibilities and Duties:

• Inform regularly and liaise fully with the Nursery Directors and Nursery managers
• Support management team with implementing the Curriculum
• Ensure that all aspects of the Nursery and its curriculum remain compliant with Safeguarding and Regulatory requirements
• Maintain at all times, a high standard of professional conduct and a child centred approach to the education
• plan and construct the staff induction programme
• Oversee Performance Management

Nursery Curriculum Leader Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification
• 3 years post qualification experience
• Strong leadership skills
• A proven record of Management/leadership experience
• Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Strong people skills with the ability to listen, support and guide colleagues
• Be confident, friendlily and very approachable
