North Wales Police Summer Opportunities

North Wales Police are currently recruiting for Welsh Speaking Switchboard operators to support them during their busy summer period from Mid-June to September 2016.

This is an ideal role for those looking to gain experience within policing.

What you must have:
-Conversation spoken Welsh
-Excellent communication skills
-Customer Service experience
– IT skills
– Ability to problem solve.

The role will be to act as the switchboard for all calls coming into the North Wales Police Emergency services call centre. You will be dealing with members of the public over the phone, screening and directing emergency and non-emergency calls.

You will gain excellent experience in a front line, public facing policing role.

Working hours are on a rota basis, working 3 out of 5 weekends. You will work shift patterns of 1000-2000 and 0800-1800, with at least 2 consecutive rest days per week.
