The vacancy

LECTURER – CREATIVE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES

Our Creative Digital Technologies department is growing and we are wanting to recruit an enthusiastic and versatile programme tutor to the team. You should be qualified to at least Degree level or similar in a related area or have extensive work experience in the Creative Digital Technologies sector. Applicants should also possess a level 4 teaching qualification or be willing to work towards this.

It is essential that the candidates possess comprehensive knowledge of the Creative Digital production pipeline and can be flexible in their teaching across the creative specialisms, inspiring students to achieve success and progression to their desired destination. The candidate will have a broad knowledge of creative media production in digital subjects such as Audio and Video production, Imaging software skills, 3D Modelling and Animation required for digital content production. The successful candidate must be able to teach across a range of programmes at levels 1, 2 and 3 in both classroom and blended learning environments and be ready to support new developments within the curriculum and growing employer engagement to enhance provision.

Experience of assessment and quality assurance practises would be desirable.

Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.

Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
