Night Shift Production Manager

My client is a national Food Manufacturer of Bakery products to the main retailers. Due to growth across the sites nationwide my client is looking to add to their existing team a Shift Manager to work nights. You will be taking overall responsibility on shift for implementing the business targets and objectives for site operation. Experience in FMCG, Food or Non-Food is essential.

Responsibilities:

Develop and motivate a team of operatives, focusing on continuous training and development.
Set department KPI’s and ensure these are met, reporting weekly.
Looking to drive effectiveness, efficiency and improvement in all areas.
Dealing with any quality or safety issues.
Ensure the shift achieves the production requirements.
Responsible for a number of continuous improvement projects
Develop strong internal relationships with various departments
Person Specification:

Experience in a similar Shift Management role within FMCG.
Strengths people management and developing individuals and teams
Knowledge and experience in Continuous Improvements
Excellent communication skills
Experience with health and safety, food safety and HACCP
Strong organisational skills
