Night Receptionist / Front of House Security

A premium Student Accommodation provider based in West London are recruiting for a Front of House Security role covering their Night shift. Our client is a luxury student accommodation provider with a private membership style and fantastic premises. The Night – Front of House role provides fantastic customer service and ensures disturbances are managed appropriately.

This role is offered as a 6 month fixed term contract in the first instance. The shift pattern is as follows: 56 hours worked per year, Working 14 hours a day from 6pm – 8am on a 4 days on, 4 days off basis. Salary equivalent for the role is £31,200per annum.

To be successful in this role the candidate must be confident and competent, have empathy and an appreciation of working cross culturally and the ability to build rapport. Candidates will ideally come from a luxury hospitality/corporate background.

The postholder will be an ambassador for the company with first class customer service providing not only a general security service to it’s residents but also general assistance.

Core duties of the Night Reception role include:
– Welcoming and logging guests and users in to the building
– Monitoring the use of common spaces
– Patrol and monitor CCTV
– Deal with any anti-social behaviour appropriately
– Ensure health and safety at the site is upheld
– Administer First Aid as required
– Report any maintenance issues immediately

Skills/Requirements of the Night Receptionist:
– Proven experience of working in a reception/front of house capacity including site access control and site patrols
– Front line Security Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor qualified (or equivalent)
– Telephone and switchboard skills
– Rapport building
– Conflict management awareness
– First Aid Training
– High level of customer awareness
