NHS CAMHS Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse / Social Worker / Therapist

Salary: £22.54 – £39.34 per hour

Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of an NHS CAMHS Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse /Social Worker / Therapist (RMN/CPN/NQSW/SW/ART/CBT/DBT/Occupational/Play/Psychological) Band 5/6/7 to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), based out of Bedford in Bedfordshire. The role is Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm however there is scope for flexibility so applicants who cannot work full time are still encouraged to apply, this is initially on an ongoing locum however this will most likely be made permanent.
The post-holder will be a graduate qualified health care professional (e.g. nurse, social worker, occupational therapist), or will have substantial CAMHS clinical experience and where appropriate will be fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (e.g. HCPC, NMC). They will have extensive clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties. In addition the worker will need to evidence that they are able to provide children, young people and their families with information and education thereby ensuring they have meaningful choices regarding interventions. The worker will need to demonstrate that they have a wide range of knowledge in approaches to communicating and managing care.
The pay rate for this locum role is between £22.54 – £39.34per hour dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
