Renault Manchester seeks an experienced New Car Sales Manager to join our dealership on Trinity Way, Salford (M3).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a responsible candidate to join a manufacturer-owned group.

The remit will involve management of the New Car sales teams, their respective budgets, performance and processes. Your headcount will comprise 4 Sales Executives that work exclusively with new cars and you will be reporting to the Head of Business.

The product portfolio includes the entire range of Renault, Alpine and Dacia vehicles. A series of new models, including new hybrid and fully-electric ones, are expected in 2024 making this an exciting time to join.

Ideally, we are seeking candidates that are currently operating as either a standalone New Car Sales Manager or as New & Used Car Sales Manager in their current role.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all aspects of the processes for new car sales according to budgets, company standards and manufacturer targets
  • Management and development of staff
  • Operating processes relating to Customer Satisfaction, Dealership Reputation, F&I, add-on sales, customer second-facing, leads handling, C-IT Now videos, FCA Compliance and deal file quality.
  • Stock management
  • Dealership presentation, display and local marketing
  • Achieving pre-determined targets on sales volume, customer satisfaction/recommendation and profit

For this high-profile role the successful candidate will be/have:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK and hold a full valid UK Driving License
  • Employed as a Motor Retail New Car Sales Manager within their current organization and ideally operating in Greater Manchester, Cheshire and/or other commercial markets in North West England
  • A proven track record in exceeding targets – candidates with a track record of successfully delivering combined annual car sales targets of 500 units or more would be a distinct advantage

 

Hours of work

  • Alternating 4- and 6-day weeks.
    • week 1: 4 weekdays
    • week 2: 4 weekdays plus Sat & Sun
  • 8:30am to 6pm weekdays
  • Saturdays 8:30am to 5pm
  • Sundays 10am to 4pm

 

In return we offer a basic salary of £40,000 per annum, bonus scheme enabling OTE circa £66,000 pa plus a demo car from day one, and eligibility to our tax-efficient ECOP car scheme after one month’s service.
