Salary: £42,000 – £80,400 + 15% annual bonus

This is an interesting role working within the security department for not just Virgin Media, but also our parent company Liberty Global. In the role you will provide expertise in supporting the resolution of advanced/complex security threats against us, our services and customers.
Some key areas you will have responsibilities in and need knowledge and include digital forensics, understanding of system logs and event sources where you can determine what is a security incident, gathering and disseminating threat intelligence, knowledge of malware and current exploitation tactics, can act as 3rd line support for the incident response team and able to write reports.

Technical areas are mainly within networks, which include OS’s such as Windows & UNIX/Linux, Cisco and Juniper, Firewalls (such as Checkpoint/ASA/Juniper), network access control, intrusion prevention systems etc.
