.NET / ASP.NET Developer – Permanent – Chelmsford
My client is a multi-channel online retailer and is currently recruiting for a .NET / ASP.NET Developer to join their existing team based in Chelmsford.
The Company
They are a multi-channel online retailer currently selling over 35,000 unique products through eBay, Amazon and their own website. They are one of the biggest sellers on eBay UK with nearly 1 million feedbacks.
The company was formed in 2008 and has grown year on year and currently employs 20 staff. They are now receiving over 1,000 orders a day.
A major part of their success is that they have developed their own internal stock management system which gives them an advantage over many of their competitors. The opening for this position has come from their success and desire to continue to further develop the system and grow the company at the same sort of rate we have seen over the last 5 years.
Role requirements
Candidates should have commercial experience in the following technologies:
• Microsoft.NET, specifically: VB.net, some C# for legacy applications, Asp.net MVC 5 & Razor
• WinForms and WPF
• Entity framework 6 for data access
• T-SQL
• Linq, XML, JSON
In addition to this, candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of OO development principles, along with creating efficient applications using design patterns.
A core part of their business involves communicating with 3rd party providers via API. Experience in this field will be advantageous.
As part of the interview process, a technical task will need to be undertaken.
Location
The location is in the centre of Chelmsford town CM1 and just 3-4 minute walk to the station.
Salary
• £35-45K base dependent on experience and ability.
