National Account Manager (North)
Job Description

At Northwood Hygiene Products we are looking for an experienced National Accounts Manager to obtain and maintain our long term key customers, covering the North of the country.
As the National Accounts Manager you will be typically working Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 working from home, with visits to our Telford and Birmingham sites.

About the Role
As our National Account Manager you will be responsible for:
- Setting goals and developing plans for growth
- Researching, planning and implementing new target market initiatives
- Pursuing leads and moving through the sales cycle
- Development of the branded portfolio
- Implementing Product Sales Training Programs at local and national distributors
- Responding to complaints promptly ensuring the highest level of customer service is always maintained
- Attend regular meetings with all accounts
- Work closely with the National Account Controller to develop the national account strategy by account within the Trade, DIY, Cash & Carry sector

Essential Skills
Ideally, I would be looking for someone with the following…
- Proven experience working within Independent Cash & Carry, Wholesalers & Trade suppliers (DIY, Builders Merchants, Screwfix, Agricultural etc)
- Experienced National Account Manager or Senior Sales looking to take next step into NAM role
- Located within the M62 corridor (ideally, but not essential, however must be centrally located to cover North of Midlands)
- Competent using MS word, excel, PP etc
- Strong relationship builder/Account Developer
- Must be both a HUNTER & FARMER (pro-active & ability to open doors)
- Proven record in New Business wins & Account Management
