Mystery Shopper (Home-Based)
Full job description
Cygnet Health Care
Salary: £21.6 per hour
As part of Cygnet’s mission to maintain excellent customer service, the company has an internal mystery shopper scheme which is run by two independent mystery shoppers.
The role of Mystery Shopper is home-based and will typically consist of about 8 to 10 calls per month which should take 4 – 5 hours work.
You will receive £18 for making an outbound call and £25 if you have to wait for a call-back.
This role would require telephoning the unit, posing as an NHS customer making a referral to the service. The mystery shopper uses these calls to put together a short report, detailing a score out of 10 for the service they received and any areas of concern about the call. This information is then used by the hospital teams to identify any issues and to ensure that any new protocols have been implemented.
The mystery shopper receives a list of scenarios at the beginning of the month, which they are given three weeks to complete.
This position would require somebody who has a background in mental health, who is confident improvising over the telephone and has a keen sense of customer care. The position would be ideal for somebody who would like to fit a small amount of work around their existing work commitments. Reliability and an ability to meet deadlines is essential.
You will be self-employed and will need to provide us either with proof of filling out a tax return or you can be added to our bank payroll.
