Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £45,600 per year

Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer with manufacturing locations across the UK. Due to recent expansion they are looking to add a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical bias) to their team of engineers.

This role is varied with no two days the same, you will need to work well under pressure.

The Person:

• NVQ Level 3 (Apprentice trained)
• Multiskilled (Mechanical bias)
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Work well in a team – You will be partnered with an electrical maintenance engineer on shift.

The Role:

• Planned preventative maintenance.
• Mechanical maintenance of all plant machinery including CNC machinery, Conveyors, Spray lines and other production machinery.
• Electrical work including changing of 3 phase motors and isolating machines.
• Attending breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Increasing machine reliability.
• Ensuring all H&S issues are reported.

This role is working a 3 shift system – 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am. The salary for this position is £45,600P.A
